Happy October, peeps. It’s been a busy couple of months. So here’s another totally-not-regular product update to let you all know about some of the new things happening.

New Stuff for Everyone

  • See your projects/requests/profile and more on the new dashboard.
  • Show off your contributor or media expertise by sharing your public profile link.
  • User history now shows your history with another user as both a contributor and a media person.

New Stuff for Media Peeps

  • Want to let anyone on Antiquoted contribute to your project? You can now create open projects, which will be shown to contributors on their dashboard.
  • Get an email alert when a contributor accepts your invitation.
  • Improved reminder emails are auto-sent to contributors who haven’t responded to you.

New Stuff for Contributors

  • Don’t wait to be invited. You can now see open media projects on your dashboard. If you think you have something to contribute to a specific request, you can respond directly to the media person.
  • Are you going on holiday or want to take a break from receiving media enquiries? You can now toggle your profile visibility on or off from your profile.

In other news…

We did a Product Hunt. We decided on the Friday and launched on the Monday. Apparently, this is not what you’re meant to do. However, we made it to #8 product of the day and got some amazing feedback.

Screenshot from Product Hunt showing it got 207 upvotes and 104 comments, and ranked No.8 on the day.

Thanks to all of you who gave us an upvote or a comment; it means the world to us. Hopefully, this kind of thing will attract more diverse voices and media to Antiquoted and help get this train moving.

If you have any ideas or feedback on what we should build to make your life easier, you can email me directly at [email protected].
